Flip the Fleet invites you to do an online “choice experiment” where you will be asked to choose between rapid chargers with different availability (likelihood that you have to wait your turn), security, and proximity to main routes and amenities like shops, toilets and recreational spaces. The survey calculates the relative importance that you place on each of these characteristics.
Once your responses are combined with those of other EV owners, we will be able to lay out some preference ‘rules’ for where it is best to place new rapid chargers in future. After the choice experiment itself, we also ask you a few questions about yourself and your experience when visiting rapid chargers (how long you have had to wait, how many times you got ICEd etc.).
The survey will take you 15-20 minutes all up. We’ll send you a link to a report on the results once enough people have done the experiment.
[This survey is now closed. You can read about the results at https://flipthefleet.org/resources/research-reports/]
Thanks

I use rapid charger only when It can’t wait till night time. If I need a 100% charge I would charge to 80% at Quick charger and top it of at Home for the remainder. So far not been ice’d
