Flip The Fleet is a joint project between Ecosystems Consultants Limited, PowerStats Limited and Zeno Networks Limited. You are welcome to contact either of us at any time via our websites: www.ecosystemsconsultants.co.nz, www.powerstats.co and www.zeno.co.nz, respectively.
- Registration: By filling out and submitting the Nissan Leaf brake system failure logbook form via https://flipthefleet.org/leaf-brakes-logbook/ and providing any further related information to us (together “Registration and EV Information“), you grant us, the owners of this website (Ecosystems Consultants Limited), the right to collect, use and disclose your Registration and EV Information, including in our quest to understand the reported failures of the e-ACT Electrically-driven Intelligent Brake Control Unit in Nissan Leafs manufactured between November 2012 and February 2016, as detailed here
- Information to be provided: Your Registration and EV Information includes all information that you supply in your Nissan Leaf brake system failure logbook form, such as information about yourself, your contact details, and information about your EV. You warrant that any Registration and EV Information you supply is correct, up-to-date and complete.
- How we use the information: We will only use your Registration and EV Information for the purposes of providing you and other users with the services offered by the Flip The Fleet website, these services specifically including our quest to understand the reported failures of the e-ACT Electrically-driven Intelligent Brake Control Unit in Nissan Leafs manufactured between November 2012 and February 2016, as detailed here. Our services also include collating your Registration and EV Information with information provided by other users, analysing and evaluating the collated information, and licensing / providing the information to third parties as appropriate.
- Updating and storage of your information: Your Registration and EV Information will be collected and held by Ecosystems Consultants Limited. This information may also be held by PowerStats Limited and Zeno Networks Limited, which carry out the data analysis. You’ll be able to change or delete any of your Registration and EV Information at any time – just get in touch with us by email at brakes@flipthefleet.org, by phone on +64 (0)21 927 346 or by sending us correspondence to 30 Warden Street, Opoho, Dunedin, New Zealand.
- Disclosure of your information: Your Registration and EV Information may be disclosed by us to certain third parties for the purposes of operating the Flip The Fleet website, including PowerStats Limited and Zeno Networks Limited, which carry out the data analysis.
- Promotional materials and emails: By filling out and submitting the Nissan Leaf brake system failure logbook form, you consent to us, or our approved third parties, to send you materials and emails related to Flip The Fleet, primarily as related to the reported failures of the e-ACT Electrically-driven Intelligent Brake Control Unit in Nissan Leafs manufactured between November 2012 and February 2016, as detailed here (in plain English, we think we need this clause so we can keep in touch with you, and keep you up to date with our findings).

- The term “Service” throughout the PowerStats Limited’s Privacy Policy means the Flip The Fleet portal that participating drivers use to enter their data, and view various reports. Therefore, for the purpose of this Statement of Privacy, uses of “Service”, “Using the Service” and “Registering for the Services” are to be read as “filling out and submitting the Nissan Leaf brake system failure logbook form via https://flipthefleet.org/leaf-brakes-logbook/ and providing any further related information to us and us possibly continuing to communicate with each other around this subject”, or another intention along these lines.
- Terms “Aggreagate or anonymous information”, “General Terms of Use”, “End User”, “communication preferences” and “Personal Settings” do not apply to you, as you are not a user of the PowerStats system.
